Passamaquoddy Power Project to be Discussed

In its continuing lecture series the Trescott Historical Society will be featuring a presentation by Dr. Normand Laberge: "Water Power from Haycock Harbor to Straight Bay", and how the 1930s Passamaquoddy tidal power project would have impacted the towns of Trescott and Lubec.

Dr. Laberge is a recognized expert in the field and has published several studies on the subject of tidal power.

This talk will take place at the Lubec Memorial Library on Wednesday evening, June 9th, at 6:15. Light refreshments will follow the program, which is free and open to the public.
