Trescott Maps Online | |
The Maine Conservation Commission has implemented a web site with maps from the Land Use Regulation Commission (LURC), the Maine Forest Service (MFS) and the Maine Geological Survey (MGS). The LURC section includes LURC zones and Maine Revenue tax parcels in the Unorganized Territories, including Trescott.
Map web pages have no direct links, but Trescott maps can be accessed from the home page at http://megisims.state.me.us/DOC_IMS/. Click on "LURC Parcel Application", then "Find Zones", and then select "Trescott Twp" in the menu and click on "view town". A map of Trescott will appear. You can select icons to control zoom or pan, under "Map Tools" select boundaries of land features controlled by the state, or search for a parcel by its plan and lot numbers from the county tax maps (plan numbers must be two digits with a leading zero.) Information on property ownership is not available at the website but can still be obtained from the Maine Dept. of Revenue in Augusta.
